Rachel Kroes has existed between two worlds most of her life - a world with sound and a world without. Moving between the two has resulted in some privilged connections made through the shaping of hands and movement of lips.

Rachel is the Executive Officer of the Down Syndrome Association of the Northern Territory and is also behind Project 21, which provides educational pathways for young adults with disabilities.
