The good, the Dad and the angsty
Rebecca Day

Growing up can be pretty hard work. There’s awkward body changes, weird hormones and lots of upheaval. There’s surviving in the school playground and working out what you like and don’t like. There’s experimenting with all kinds of new things and trying to cover your tracks. With all that going on, there’s not really a lot of room to think about anyone else, especially your parents, right? Rebecca Day works as an emergency doctor at Royal Darwin Hospital. But lately, she’s been uncovering her past, thinking back to when she was a kid and how she gave her dad a bit of a run around.

Rebecca told her story at the SPUN: True Stories Told in the Territory themed 'Uncovered' at Northern Territory Library at Parliament House on 17 March 2017.
