On the strength of a childhood dream from watching imported Home and Away on Kenyan TV, Geoffrey Mburu left his home country for a life of nursing in Darwin. But coming to Australia wasn't only about chasing the fictional Summer Bay lifestyle, it was also about providing a stable future for his kids. The fateful Kenyan election in 2007 saw Geoffrey's world, and ability to trust, turned into disarray.
