Bosnia and the Blue Light Disco...
Lari Gadza

Lari Gadza was born a couple of weeks after Cyclone Tracy, safely delivered in Footscray, before moving back to Darwin. She grew up in the suburbs of Moil, Driver and now calls Ludmilla/Parap home. Larissa studied Fine Art at the Northern Territory University and completed a Master of Documentary Photography at the Sydney College of Arts. She now spends her time moonlighting in the public service. Having spent the 90s contemplating travel, then actually travelling, Larissa returned home to party like it was 1999, in 1999, and helped produce the Nude 2000 New Year’s Party.

Lari told her story live on Friday 1 December 2017 at SPUN at Darwin Festival themed 'Rewind' where we rewound back through Darwin’s history to celebrate 60 years of local government, shining a light on the stories that have helped shape this wild, vibrant town into what it is today.
