At last count, Mona had 13 children, 36 grand-children, 54 great- grandkids and 18 great-great-grandkids. For most of her 90-year life, she’s lived in Darwin, first in a tent at Manolis Beach and later, with her family in one of the Sidney Williams huts. She has Caucasian, Aboriginal, Filipino and Chinese heritage and tonight, she’ll chat with her daughter, Maisie Austin about her memories and why she gets cross when she fills out forms.
