400 shots a day...
Timmy Duggan

The name Timmy Duggan might be familiar - Timmy was, after all, the first Territorian to play in the NBL at the height of basketball hype in the 90s. But the story behind his career is less well known - from being scouted at the age of 10 to moving to Sydney on a basketball scholarship and onto the NBL, a combination of written letters, generational resilience and a quiet pull back home were what kept Timmy going. Timmy's story begins at the Daly Street basketball courts and four, yes four, hoops in the backyard...

Timmy told his story live on Tuesday 22 August 2017 at SPUN at Darwin Festival themed 'Home'.
